I had a very nice two day stay. The room was spotless and I enjoyed the pool on both days. I ate in the restaurant in the evening which was lovely. The homemade bread in the morning was delicious.

Great older building with lots of charm and plenty of convenience. Staff is outstanding, pub/restaurant is fabulous, couldn't ask for more. Right in the town center, convenient to shops and other restaurants. This was our second stay at the Glencarn, would love to return when in Castleblaney and highly recommend.

Stayed with grandchildren in a family room on a visit to family in Monaghan. The staff were so friendly and helpful in every way. Even got a courtesy call that morning to check if we had any additional requirements.Family Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Ate in the bar and the food was delicious. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Used the leisure centre and it was a very big pool which the kiddies loved and a relaxing hot tub for Nanna. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Glencarn hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly. The bar area is very welcoming with a great atmosphere. The food was gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely as well. I would definitely stay again.

Availed of the Friday night Dine and Dance package, have to say everything was great. Natasha on reception was very professional. The food in restaurant was superb. Will deffo be back and have recommended to friends.

Older hotel and room furniture is a bit outdated. The restaurant and bar was very nice. Great free breakfast. I would recommend staying here

I always enjoy my stay at the glen carn. The rooms are comfortable although need a little update! Food is very good .

HI, I enjoyed my stay at the Glencarn as I have done on previous visits. The staff are the venue's greatest asset, followed by the swimming pool. The decor on the first floor would benefit from an upgrade but I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to potential guests

This is lovely hotel with a great swimming pool. It's also a very busy hotel that holds big events. Overall very good, we enjoyed our weekend there.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THE GLENCARN HOTEL,LOVELY FRIENDLY HOTEL,GREAT SERVICE,AND BREAKFAST SECOND TO NONE, AS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT, THE BEE GEES WERE FANTASTIC AND ASLAN AMAZING ! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR SURE. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL HIGHLY ENOUGH.

Very pleasant stay. Food was excellent value and great quality.

Arrived after a long flight and got a quiet room which was what we had requested, all staff members in hotel and bar were polite and friendly. Asked for iron and it was brought up straight away and also asked if I could have some peppermint tea for the room and was given some which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, we would definitely stay again and will be giving a good review on trip advisor. Thanks

We booked three rooms for our stay at the glencarn, one of the rooms was quite cold, apart form this everything was perfect. Welcoming friendly staff, spotless rooms. Perfect weekend.

Stayed overnight after dance

Overall Very happy with the stay. There was a function on the Saturday night which was quite loud as our room was directly above the function room. The staff were very helpful and they resolved our issue. The food was amazing, the best breakfast I have had in a hotel in years!!

Very enjoyable overnight stay for my sisters 50th birthday. Excellent idea to have pool facility open until 10pm. Think Hotel would benefit from advertising treatment facilities ie massage , facials, manicures etc if this is available especially on weekends with dancing. Staff friendly, breakfast adequate and tasty. Will defintely be back and would like to savour the dancing weekends/ nights. Thank you .

The Glencarn Hotel was an excellent place to stay. It was great value for money. The room was very comfortable. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I have already recommended the Glencarn to others who will be going there for short breaks and golfing holidays.

I was very impressed with all the staff at the hotel. Really enjoyed my/our stay. Staff really made us feel so special. Food was first class. Staff very informative. Hotel itself is very clean and tidy - maybe a coat of paint or a refurbish. Staff in restaurant were first class and should be highly commended for their service and attention to detail. I have stayed in many hotels around Ireland for short breaks but the staff in the Glencarn are exceptional. The food is lovely and plenty of it. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay there again.The only downside to the hotel is they are no tea making facilities in the rooms. Muckro Park is a most for everyone to visit.

We stayed 2 nights (family 2+2) and had included meal on first night (kids charged for their meals). Staff were all very friendly and meal was delicious. Very good value food if not included in your package! Enjoyed the lovely leisure centre each day also. Very good location in the town and lots to do in the area. Lovely walk around the lake. Look forward to returning some time!

Had a lovely weekend, hotel and food lovely.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Me and other members of my family arrived early for a party later. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Whilst in reception I witnessed the reception staff giving all manner of advice and help to residents. My room was small, but clean and fine for my stay. A late night drink in the bar with two of my brothers was made perfect by polite and attentive bar staff. That late drink made a good breakfast essential and we were not disappointed !!! It was delicious and the friendly atmosphere generated by the 'breakfast ladies' saw us sitting there for over an hour after we had finished !! Overall a great stay, thank you.

Stayed here quite a few times. friendly atmosphere. Good choice and portion of foods. Still no beverage service availbale in your room Soetimes you dont want to go down stairs to the bar. Nice to hav efresh cooked breakfast rather than the mass produced kept warm buffett breakfast
